Well, among the many tips that Jane Nelsen provides in this manual are a series of proposals that teach us to differentiate between punitive traditional education and education based on positive discipline . A positive discipline that has a motto that I love and that reads like this:

FIRM & KIND

A motto that could be translated as FIRM and KIND or as firm and assertive. That is why I like this positive education so much because it does not renounce the importance of authority and, above all, it works from assertiveness and empathy towards the other, towards the younger ones.
